It’s not to late to be healthy!

ANDY’S FITNESS JOURNEY

At over 338 Pounds I was on a path to Diabetes, heart problems, depression and always felling like crap. I had to take a step back and say “It starts now!”

Are you going to start getting healthy on Monday? What about after your friend’s wedding, The New Year or the day after never? Follow me from 338 pounds to healthy. Healthy doesn’t always mean a beach body and biceps busting through your shirt. I want to share my struggle with being overweight and unhealthy for a few different reasons. For myself it’s to be held accountable. I need accountability, we all do. Hopefully some people can relate to so we can help each other. I will be sharing my workouts, meal plans (I hate veggies!), advice from personal trainers, grocery lists and where my focus is at to get through it all.

Should I get a personal trainer

This is probably the most important decision we have made in the last year. We bit the bullet, got over our fear and budgeted for a personal trainer. But was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY!!! It’s easy to tell your self or even your spouse that you don’t feel like going to the gym this morning. But tell that to your trainer, not very easy. The cool thing about getting a trainer is it takes no effort to start. When you start going to the gym there is that big hurdle of getting motivated to go. When you have someone giving up an hour of their morning just for you, you will get up and go. They are not there just to push you through a workout you don’t want to do. They are there to encourage, track, teach and challenge you to be the person you want to be.
