As much as we all love the tall windows that reach from floor to ceiling, unfortunately, not every living room was built that way. Do you Sometimes walk into a room in your house and wish it wasn’t so dark? Well lucky for you we have some great tips to help add some natural light to your home!

Use the right white paint
If your shade of white is too dark on your walls, you could be loosing out on light!

Get rid of visual clutter
Clutter intensifies the look of a dark room. Get organized, by adding shelf space against your walls.

Mirrors
This is a huge one! Adding a mirror to your room can visually expand a room and reflect light. The bigger the mirror, the better. If you can’t get a big mirror, it is a good idea to buy multiple mirrors and stack them on top of each other or side by side.

Reflective tiles
Tiles with a glossy, finish will reflect more natural light. Great for kitchens and bathrooms.
