I am Dan Muhlenkamp and the first thing you need to know about me is that I’d be a hopeless depressed, and miserable if Jesus had not died in my place on my cross, but since he did, I am so excited about this eternal adventure we call life.
While we are all far from perfect, I have a great family I am so proud of. Each of them is introduced below.
So a little about me I love quiet time alone to think and read and pray, and I also love being with other people exchanging lively conversation. I believe in taking chances and being different and failing often. My favorite non-biblical quote is “The Man In The Arena…” by Theodore Roosevelt.
I am a partner at Preferred Insurance Center and I think, while we still have a ways to go, we have something really special here. My hope and dream for Preferred is that is will be a place with such a great attitude and atmosphere that my teammates, who are Tiggers, not Eeyores, love their days here and our clients days a made here. I truly want us to Make a Difference and help others make a difference. I know it sounds corny, but we don’t give to charities and make people smile so we can sell more insurance, we sell insurance so we can give more the charity and make more people smile.
Way Better HalfThis is my wife Susie. Obviously I married waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of my league. She caught my eye at dance when she was just 16. It took me 2 weeks to get the courage to ask her to dance, 3 months for me to ask her on a date, and just one kiss for her to make me spend a lifetime wanting one more kiss. Susie has been a great mother for our children, she organizes our home, our calendar and our budget. She is also the best Kohls shopper in the entire world. I think her motto is “Don’t tell me how much I spent, just tell me how much I saved.”
SonCaleb is a senior at UD working on a Pharmaceutical Chemistry degree. Caleb loves his sports and has been predicting Bengals Superbowl wins and Reds World Series victories for 19 years in row now. Caleb is destined to change people’s lives.
SonZach is our oldest. He is a UC Bearcat graduate and is working as an actuary at Western Southern. Zach is his own person. He goes after what he wants and usually gets it. He also cares deeply about the people around him and those who need a helping hand.
PrincessWhich brings us to Alexis, our 14 year old daughter. She is definitely the Princess, and she knows it. She is bright, and smiles a lot, and never seems to stop singing (which I think she is pretty darn good at). She has her daddy wrapped around her little finger and the world is so much brighter because of her.
Father-In-LawI put my father-in-law in here because he is such a huge influence in my life. First, he gave me his daughter as a wife. But he has created a family that is so awesome it’s amazing. He is so loved and respected by the people close to him it is amazing. He is upbeat and one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. Wise, loyal, and always giving. I would love to be like him some day.
