I choose Tim because he is one of the most kind hearted, considerate, carrying, generous and loyal people I know.
Tim’s wife, my mother in law, has been dealing with a serious medical condition for several years. He never shows any frustration or anger toward working a strenuous full time job, doing household chores, driving to and from medical appointments (along with the stress that accompanies them) all while being a great husband, dad/father in law, grandfather and friend.
Tim will go out of his way to help someone in need, no matter the circumstances. And, while being the great person he is, he never expects anything in return!
I believe it’s fair to say that I will likely not meet another person like Tim Thornton!

I would like to nominate Erica (Staugler) Wehrkamp, from Fort Recovery. Erica has always gone above and beyond to make everyone else’s life just a little easier. She is very active in the community, the Psi Iota Xi Sorority, and makes a difference in many children’s lives. She recently set up a lemonade stand with young children to raise money for the Dayton’s Children’s Hospital. They sold over $300 worth of lemonade and cookies the week of the Fort Recovery Garage Sales. She then took the children shopping for items to donate back to the hospital.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family (especially her nieces and nephews). She loves baking, watching the Reds, the Browns and traveling with her husband Kevin. If you see Erica out in the community, you will know her by her contagious smile and upbeat attitude.
